Having trained in the martial arts for over 20 years, Sensei Jessica has a wealth of knowledge and is an integral part of GKR Karate’s leadership team.

As a Regional Manager, Sensei Jessica is responsible for overseeing the karate tuition all GKR Karate students and instructors across Christchurch.

This involves conducting monthly gradings and regular karate seminars for students, as well as ongoing specialised training for over 20 Branch Instructors under her tutelage.

Sensei Jessica is the Tournament Director for junior and adult tournaments which operate in her region, she also oversees the qualification process and ongoing training of all tournament Officials, Judges and Referees.

As a Level 5 IGKF Accredited Judge and Referee, Sensei Jessica travels throughout New Zealand and internationally to attend National and World Championship tournaments as a competitor, coach and referee.
